How the Leg-spinner Rashid Khan performs with the Bat?

The youngest Afghanistan player who played in a Twenty20 International when he was just 17 years old is Rashid Khan. He is one among a few Afghan cricketers who got to play in one of the biggest T20 League i.e Indian Premier League.

 

In IPL 2018, Rashid Khan gained limelight when he took wickets of great players like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and MS Dhoni. Rashid Khan not only participated in IPL but he participated and performed well in a number of T20 Leagues across the world.

 

Currently, he is playing in the Big Bash League for Adelaide Strikers. He has established himself as one of the best T20 cricketers in the world. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar called Rashid Khan as the best spinner in the world.

 

He is also referred to as the best bowler in the world by the Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting. It is said that Rashid really creates a pressure on batsmen while bowling. His leg-spin and googlies troubled most batsmen on the field.

 

The Leg-spinner has not only proved his skills with the ball but also with the bat. He on some occasions did MS Dhoni helicopter shot perfectly. Recently, he got his first opportunity with the bat in the BBL and he struck a huge six off Perth Scorchers Nathan Coulter-Nile.

 

He played the shot so well that it really impressed everyone. It was a proper tennis-ball smack from Rashid who made good use of his strong forehands to brutally smash it for a six. He scored 21 off 12 deliveries which included two sixes and two boundaries.
