The Indian National Cricket Team enter the Test series against Australia. Before the four-match test series that will start from December 6, Cricket Australia XI vs India, a 4-day Practice Match at Sydney Cricket Ground has been scheduled from November 28.

Team India has a better balance in the batting order. Different roles are assigned to different batsmen but Virat Kohli who is considered as the best batsman in the world is a major support for Team India.
The Indian captain Virat Kohli has been in amazing form this year in Test matches. He has
scored centuries in South Africa and England. He has always been a run-getter on Australian pitches.
The first test of the four-match test series is in Adelaide on December 6 where Virat Kohli is on the verge of breaking another Master Blaster’s record. He might overtake master blaster Sachin Tendulkar record for the most number of centuries scored in Australia.
Sachin Tendulkar is at the top of the list of most Test centuries against Australia in Australia with 6 centuries in 20 matches. Following Sachin is Sunil Gavaskar with 5 centuries in 11 matches and Virat Kohli with 5 centuries in 8 matches. VVS Laxman holds 4 centuries in 15 matches while Mohinder Amarnath has 2 centuries in 8 matches in Australia.
Virat Kohli has five centuries to his name in Australian soil and is just one century short of Sachin’s tally. In the previous tour, Virat Kohli scored four centuries in the series and as he is the better form can past Sachin’s record.
Sachin Tendulkar has scored 1809 runs in 20 Tests at an average of 53.20 while Virat Kohli has scored 992 runs in 8 matches against Australia an average of 62. The task will not be easy for Kohli as Australia have good bowlers like Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood.
